While we want our fosters to have as much flexibility as possible to make their experience as enjoyable as possible, we do have a few non-negotiable rules that are in place for your and your pet's safety and well being.
Here's a quick list of Foster No-Nos:
Dog Parks or Playdates
Having children's faces near your pet's mouth at any time
Leaving children unattended with pets under 1 month
Knowing when something is an emergency or not can feel overwhelming. We’ve got you! Follow the list to determine when and who you should be contacting with your concerns.

As a foster parent, you play a crucial role in providing a transitional home for our pets in need giving them an opportunity to learn how to “dog” before being adopted AND to allow us to bring new pets into our care that desperately need a safe space to let love live! Please enjoy a few FREE goodies as a token of appreciation for all you do for our pets!
As the spokesperson for your foster dog, you have the greatest impact in helping them to get adopted! To help us manage your foster dog’s profile and ensure potential adopters see them as quickly as possible please follow the marketing calendar below! Click each topic to read more and use the available tools.
Make sure to complete the initial Feedback Questionnaire and send us at least 5 photos! Including at least 30 seconds of video is even better!
Please share additional details with us about your dogs likes, their unique quirks and what you would rate them a 10/10 at (snacker, napper, zoomie racer - be cute!)
Posting about your pet on social media to your personal friends and acquaintances is more effective than us posting about your pet on our pubic page.
People are much more confident adopting a pet from someone they know and feel is trustworthy in representing the pet's personality.
This is also a great way to advocate for the impact of fostering a pet by sharing your foster journey!
*Make sure to TAG us in your posts so we can share them on our public page also!
