Our adoption process is simple and relatively quick!  We work diligently to have pets placed into homes as soon as possible, especially if a pet of interest needs to be transported.  Here's the outline of steps:

1. Complete our adoption form to let us know about you, your pet preferences and any upfront guidance you may need or want to make adopting an enjoyable experience for you and your new pet.
2. One of our adoption coordinators will reach out via text message and follow up with a phone call to go over additional details and discuss any questions you have.

*Please note all pets on our website are currently available, however may have meetings scheduled with potential adopters.  We recommend you provide several pets on your form or allow us to make recommendations based on your preferences.

The majority of our pets are spayed/neutered (altered) prior to adoption.  Due to the high volume of pets in our care combined with limited access to veterinary care (a result of post-pandemic veterinary shortages) some of our pets are ready to be adopted before they have been altered.  

A spay/neuter deposit is required for all unaltered pets which will be refunded within two weeks of certificate of alter.  The alter status of pets will be discussed by your adoption coordinator.  

Puppies (under 4 months):  $300 + $50 alter deposit 

Altered adults (4mo-7yrs):  $300

Altered adults (under 20 pounds):  $375

Unaltered adults:  $210 + $25 alter deposit

Seniors (7yrs-10yrs):  $135

Super Senior (10+yrs):  $75
